I am extremely late to the party on this one! I had wanted to get this ever since the launch but I wasn't sure how much I would actually use it as I have so many palettes. Then my friend Lily got it and she makes me want everything so I finally placed my order and I wish I had got it sooner as I adore it!
If you love extremely warm tones on your eyes, you will fall in love with this palette if you haven't already got your hands on it! The Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette is a peachy dream, packed full of matte and shimmer shades to be able to create a super natural or totally glammed up look. I have a couple of Too Faced palettes already, the Chocolate Bar Palette is one of my all-time favourites so I had high hopes that the quality would be the same and it does not disappoint. It has been formulated without gluten and parabens and is cruelty-free.
This palette is a freshly-picked peachy palette with pops of purple and bronze. I love warm tones and I don't think I will ever be able to not wear them on the eyes. This palette is a great one to have in your collection because you can create such a variety of looks with it. Most of the time, I like to keep my eye looks pretty light and simple and this palette has been my go-to recently. But you can create deeper and even slightly smoky looks with this so you can really get your money's worth out of it. Just like the whole Sweet Peach collection, this palette is scented which I personally love, I am obsessed with scented beauty products! It of course, has a peach scent but I don't find it to be as strong as it is with the Sweet Peach Glow Palette. The packaging is extremely high quality and comes in a metal tin style palette with a mirror inside. Unlike the chocolate bar palettes, all of the pans are the same size.
Not only is this a great smelling palette, but the shadows are really pigmented and super blendable. I have been using this palette most days since I got it at the beginning of February and I do really love it. This palette has mostly matte shades with a few shimmer and slightly glittery shades thrown in. I quite like that this has a lot of matte shades as I have been really loving them recently. The shades like Candied Peach that are mainly matte with a slight glitter running through it actually applies without any glitter when you use a brush, making it the perfect shade for the crease. I prefer to apply the shimmer shades with a damp brush as it enhances the pigmentation and intensity but they are great applied dry too. The matte shades have pretty much been the only shades I have used in my crease since it arrived and I can't get enough of it. I wasn't so sure on the peachy tones at first but they are very complimentary on my skin tone.
My favourite shades at the moment are:
- White Peach: a light beige with warm, yellowy undertones and a satin finish.
- Luscious: a muted, medium coppery brown with warm undertones and a shimmer/metallic finish
- Candied Peach: a muted, medium orange with a touch of pink and pink micro-glitter.
- Puree: a muted, medium caramel-brown with warm, reddish ones and a matte finish.
- Summer Yum: a medium-dark, red/born matte shade with warm undertones.
The shadows wear incredibly well without eyeshadow primer, I always forget to apply it. They last all day long without creasing or fading. When I dip my brush into the pans, I get very minimal kick back and the fall out as I apply the shadows to the eyes is almost non-existent. If you've been on the fence about getting this palette, I highly recommend it. I love the sweet peach collection and I can't wait for the peaches and cream products to be available at UK stockists soon.
