It's no secret how much I love my beautyblender, I can't apply my foundation and concealer without one now! So when I saw this collaboration set, I knew I had to have it! Too Faced are one of my favourite brands so two too Faced products paired with one of my favourite beauty tools was a match made in heaven.
The Beautyblender x Too Faced Beauty Sleep Set comes with four products, two from each brand and retails for £27.50, you can find it at Cult Beauty and Debenhams. I had been needing to get a new beautyblender anyway as you are meant to replace them every couple of months so when I saw this set it seemed like great value for money! Especially when I had been desperately wanting to try the two Too Faced products anyway. With the Original Beautyblender being £16 alone, for the extra three products for a little over £10 extra, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it!
Inside the box, you get the Original Beautyblender, a Micro Beautyblender (both in a gorgeous baby pink colour) as well as the Too Faced Hangover 3-in-1 Setting Spray and the Hangover Replenishing Face Primer. Both of the beautyblender products are full sizes and items I have used before and loved. The two Too Faced products are both sample/travel sizes. The setting spray is a 30ml size which I do think is great and definitely enough to be able to tell if you like the product before purchasing the full size but the primer is only 5ml. Again, it's enough to be able to tell if you like it but I do wish it was a little bigger honestly.
The original beautyblender is by far one of the best beauty discoveries I have ever made. It completely changes the game when it comes to applying makeup products and I am obsessed with it. I use mine to apply my foundation, concealer and sometimes even powder and it never fails. It creates a flawless base each and every time and blends any product brilliantly. The micro beautyblender is something I have used before but had completely forgotten about so I was happy to have another! This is a miniature version of the original beautyblender and is fantastic for applying concealer under the eyes as it makes it much easier to get directly under the lower lash line and into the inner corner. I always use my sponges damp as it makes makeup apply so much better. I have tried so many beauty sponges and nothing ever comes close to the beautyblender.
The Too Faced Hangover 3-in-1 Setting Spray can be used as a primer, setting spray or a makeup refresher and I personally prefer it as a makeup refreshing spray. I have used this a couple of different ways so far and this is definitely how it works the best for my skin. It's a coconut-infused mist that soothes and hydrates the skin and is perfect for a skin pick me up. I do also like to use it when I have applied a little too much powder to set my makeup as it adds moisture back into my skin so I don't look so dry. The Hangover Primer has been on my wishlist for months and months now so I couldn't wait to finally try it out and I have been loving it so far! It has a smoothing effect on the skin and creates a great base for makeup. It's pretty hydrating on the skin without feeling greasy or oily and adds a healthy looking finish to the skin. I think I might need a full size of this soon!
