I love shopping at Superdrug, they stock some of my favourite brands but one brand I haven't tried much from is GOSH. For some reason, I had overlooked them whenever I was in stores and I wish I hadn't as I have been so impressed with these products since I got my hands on them. If you are on a budget and looking for some new beauty to try, you need to check out GOSH.
I am all about loose setting powders at the moment, I find they can really transform the way my makeup looks and wears throughout the day and I had been wanting to try out a new affordable banana powder. The Prime 'N' Set Banana Setting Powder is a two in one product that can be used as a primer and as a setting powder, I would have never thought to use this as a primer! This is a yellow toned powder which I personally prefer to use under the eyes. This is extremely smoothing on the skin and gives the skin a soft matte finish. This is great to use under the eyes as it minimises the appearance of any lines and doesn't look heavy or cakey on the skin. I have used this a few times on the face to set my foundation and it does work well as it doesn't settle into the pores or lines I have. It keeps my skin matte until the late evening and works well with my oily skin.
I am all about highlighting, I have far too many but one more isn't going to hurt! The Lumi Drops are available in a few different shades and I have been testing out the Gold shade. This is a multi-use product that can be used to highlight, strobe and define the skin and has a stunning shimmery finish. I love to use this on no makeup days to add a little glow to my normally dull skin and it works brilliantly to add light and luminosity to the skin. I have been applying a small drop of this to the cheekbones and then take a damp beauty blender to blend into the skin. I need to get my hands on a few of the other shades soon.
The final two products I have been trying out are both for the brows. I have never had great brows, it takes a lot of work to get them looking half decent! For days when I want more of a natural brow, I like to use the Brow Shape & Fill in Dark Brown. This is a two in one product that as a soft powder on one end to fill in the brows and a triangular shaped crayon on the other to add shape and definition to the brows. This is the perfect shade match for my brows and I love the results I can achieve with this and both products are also so long-lasting once applied. I was so surprised that the crayon pencil wasn't dry, it's honestly better than the ABH Brow Definer!
As I mentioned, I have the worst brows, they just won't grow and are also small and thin. I used to have lovely brows when I was younger but I accidentally over-plucked them one day and they never grew back. I have been using the Growth Serum for a while now and this is going to help increase the number of hairs and make the brows look visibly thicker. It contains SymPeptide Xlash which is going to help create fuller brows. It's free from perfume and parabens and so far so good! It's a little too early to give you my full thoughts but I will update in a few months how I have got on with it.
