While I don't need to be using any anti-ageing products yet it is always good to start preventing wrinkles. My mum loves trying out new skincare so I thought I would put this SKINeffect Intensive Anti-Ageing Face Cream to the test from two different perspectives with different skin issues and different skin types.
This moisturiser has no added parents, allergens and colourants and can be used as often as needed. I absolutely love the packaging, the product is housed in a decent size glass jar with white and purple accents. The moisturiser itself is on the thicker side but sinks into the skin almost instantly and doesn't leave behind any residue or great feeling. The moisturiser has a nice light scent to it but once it is applied you can't smell it.
I think this would be more suited towards mature skin as it does have anti ageing properties. this face cream is suitable for all skin types. It contains a selection of active ingredients and Hydra Matrix Complex for antioxidant action. It is recommended that you avoid contact with the eyes. I like to apply a pea sized amount and spread it out between my cheeks, forehead and chin and lightly pat into the skin.
Both myself and my mum agree that it is a perfect morning moisturiser and is actually a great base for makeup. My mum has even loving applying this before her foundation and has actually said her makeup has looked better since she has been using this. It leaves the skin feeling so soft and smooth which we love. I have particularly dry skin in some areas and this has done wonders for my skin and completely cleared up the dry patches. It is definitely good for hydrating the skin and I think this is going to be perfect using the colder months when the skin needs a more intense moisturiser. After continuing to use this for over a week I noticed that my skin looked much more plump and helps fill the little lines.
The SKINeffect Intensive Anti-Ageing Face Cream retails for £15.99 and is available from Lloyds Pharmacy - link.
